Bill Underwood was known for his creativity and highly effective manner in teaching the applications of improvised defensive and offensive
weaponry to Military, Special Operations and Intelligence professionals. (The concept of being able to use any common object
..pens, books, jackets, belts, cell phone, electrical chord etc… to defend, control or apply aggressive force to an opponent.)
Canadian Use of Force Systems has taken a modern approach to teaching Improvised Defensive and Aggressive Tactics by engaging in a
study of the attributes found on all common objects. Instead of isolating and training how to
use a particular object,
Canadian Use of Force Systems teaches how to understand and apply the attributes found on all common objects providing a highly effective
principle based system which does not limit the student by focusing upon a single device.
The Key-2-Defense System has been specifically designed to teach the applications of the common key for the purposes of defense, control or in applying aggressive force. TheKey-2-Defense program is not a simple articulation of age old concepts such as “placing a key between your fingers” to defend yourself but a system which teaches how to anchor the key to the hand and how to non-telegraphically make use of its specific attributes against the anatomy of the human body.
